Rare Japanese exclusive Taito 'Akira' adventure game, released for the Famicom on Christmas Eve 1988, five months after the first release of the groundbreaking Katsuhiro Otomo movie on which it’s based. Comes complete with cartridge and game booklet.

The player takes the role of Kaneda, who begins the game when his motorcycle gang is taken into police custody after the military abduction of their friend Tetsuo. Progress in the game is made by selecting actions from a list, and can be recorded with the help of passwords
