Released via the same Parisian publishers as Burroughs ‘Junkie’, Vladimir Nabokov’s ‘Lolita’ caused a stir back in 1955 on it’s initial release.
It gained a cult status in the late 50’s, and has been adapted twice, the first released only 6 years after it was published by the iconic Stanley Kubrick.
This 1961 UK Corgi edition was the first ‘complete & unabridged’ softback to be released. It includes critics opinion of the classic novel and comes between an awesome brutalist esq gold and black cover.
The book is in good condition with wear on spine and cover (pictured)
