1998 Hunter S Thompson 'The Rum Diary'

First US hardback edition of Thompson's 'The Rum Diary', which was pretty much forgotten about and lost until it was found amongst papers. The lost novel was written back in the early 60's by the godfather of Gonzo, but not published until the late 90's.

The story involves a journalist named Paul Kemp who, in the 1950s, moves from New York to work for a major newspaper, The Daily News, in Puerto Rico.

The book is in Very Good+ condition, with no creases, sun bleaching or tears on the dust jacket or pages.
