1969 William Burroughs ‘The Naked Lunch’

Nice 1969 Corgi edition of Burroughs’ notorious Beat Generation classic ‘Naked Lunch’, first published in 1959. We follow the narration of junkie William Lee (and his various aliases) from the USA to Mexico and finally ‘Interzone’. Constructed as a series of vignettes which can be read in any order, it’s a surreal sci-fi masterpiece. Adapted to film in 1991 by David Cronenberg
