1977 William S. Burroughs 'Junky'

A nice Penguin Books copy of William S. Burroughs' semi-autobiographical novel 'Junky', originally published under his pseudonym William Lee in 1953

In what arguably is one of his most controversial books, 'Junky' is a tale of addicts in cities around North and Central America in the 50’s, that at the time was considered un-publishable.

This ‘complete’ edition published in 1977 includes a brand new intro from Allen Ginsberg who helped edit the book and texts that were edited out of earlier manuscripts, as it referred to Burroughs’ own and at the time, frowned upon, sexual experiences.
