Really nice First Independent VHS copy of David Cronenberg's 1991 film adaptation of William S. Burroughs' 1959 novel of the same name
It's a surreal and hypnotic treat. Not exactly a straightforward adaptation of Burrough's novel, more like a biography mixed with elements of his work and an interpretation of his drug-fuelled writing processes. Incredible soundtrack by frequent Cronenberg collaborator Howard Shore, too
