    A first softcover edition of 'Babel' from Patti Smith compiled of poetry, lyrics and drawings by the New York wordsmith, released by Berkley Books in 1979. 

    A lot of the writing used within the book became songs for the Patti Smith Group featured on albums such as the seminal 'Easter' and their 1979 follow-up 'Wave'.

    The book is in very good condition with signs of wear on front and back, and creases on the spine.
