1969 William Burroughs Naked Lunch Corgi Edition

Early 1969 Corgi edition of Burroughs’ notorious Beat Generation classic ‘Naked Lunch’, first published in 1959. This is in crazy good condition, it almost looks brand new and easily the best copy we've ever had in stock - don't sleep.

We follow the narration of junkie William Lee (and his various aliases) from the USA to Mexico and finally ‘Interzone’. Constructed as a series of vignettes which can be read in any order, it’s a surreal sci-fi masterpiece. Adapted to film in 1991 by David Cronenberg
