1969 Esquire Magazine Andy Warhol Issue

The May 1969 issue of Esquire featured a long piece on the avant garde in the United States, with the iconic image of the most highly recognised artist in the world, and leader of the movement of the time on its cover.

The image of Warhol drowning in a can of his beloved tomato soup has been reproduced and sold every which way you can think, but this issue of the men's magazine was what it was originally commissioned for and could well be up there with the most collectable peices of memoribilla we've ever come across.

In excellent condition for its age with gentle edge wear
