1964 William Burroughs Naked Lunch UK 1st Edition Hardback

1969 Caldi edition of Burroughs’ notorious Beat Generation classic ‘Naked Lunch’, first published in 1959 in the US. We follow the narration of junkie William Lee (and his various aliases) from the USA to Mexico and finally ‘Interzone’. Constructed as a series of vignettes which can be read in any order, it’s a surreal sci-fi masterpiece. Adapted to film in 1991 by David Cronenberg
