Nice UK VHS copy of Brian Eno's groundbreaking art film Thursday Afternoon
The film was shot in San Francisco in 1984 and features seven "video paintings" by actress and photographer Christine Alicino - a friend of Eno's. The static paintings were effected with image feedback to create a strange sense of movement. In the words of the man himself..."I was delighted to find this other way of using video because at last here's video which draws from another source, which is painting"
As with the previous Eno VHS we stocked 'Mistaken Memories', all footage was shot with the camera on its side, so in order to enjoy the full experience the film must be viewed vertically (by turning your TV on its right side)
