Lovely original pressing of Brian Eno's beautiful ninth solo studio album featuring his brother Roger and Daniel Lanois, the ambient masterpiece 'Apollo - Atmospheres & Soundtracks', released on E.G. / Polydor in 1983
The music was originally recorded for a feature-length documentary film about the Apollo space missions called 'Apollo' (later retitled 'For All Mankind'), directed by Al Reinhart. Music from the LP has appeared in numerous films, including: '28 Days Later, 'Trainspotting' and 'Traffic'. The sleeve features photographs of hand held stereo strips from the Apollo 14 mission to the moon manned by astronauts Alan B. Shepard Jnr., Stuart A. Roosa and Edgar G. Mitchell.
