1986 Brion Gysin 'The Last Museum'

Late 80's softcover of influential American writer, Brion Gysin's last book 'The Last Museum' with artwork designed by Keith Haring, who collaberated together on another projects in the middle of the 80's.

'The Last Museum', a loose and freewheeling remembrance of the famous Beat Hotel in Paris (where Ginsberg, Kerouac, and Burroughs all lived for a time in the 60's), told as postmortem adventure in the Bardo, the intermediate death state of Tibetan Buddhism.A wealthy Californian plans to buy the hotel and ship it to America, where it is to be reassembled on the San Andreas Fault as a museum.

The book is in very good condition with all pages in tact.
