Excellent copy of this 2003 Penguin book which combines Art Spiegelman's ground-breaking graphic novels 'Maus I: A Survivor's Tale' and 'Maus II'
Maus tells the story of Polish Jew Vladek Spiegelman - a Holocaust survivor, and his son - a cartoonist, who is learning of and trying to come to terms with his father's traumatic experiences. Spiegel employed postmodern techniques and beautiful drawings to portray his father's story, choosing to represent the Jews as mice and Germans as cats. It's an immersive and moving work of art that isn't to be missed
