1967 Hunter S. Thompson 'Hells Angels'

Arguably the book that put him in the public eye and launched his career, Thompson’s ‘Hell’s Angel’s’ is the story of a man following the notorious biker gang around the Bay Area during 1965.

This first US edition softcover released the same year as the original hardback, and two years after the original article appeared in 'The Nation' magazine retells the time Thompson spent following the San Francisco and Oakland chapters throughout the year to see how they lived their lives, and studied their behaviour at various meets and gatherings. Becoming so close with some that he would befriend various members ending in a very uncomfortable way.

In Very Good used condition with light edgewear and some creases on the cover.
