1971 Ed Sanders 'The Family' First Edition

First edition of Ed Sanders' account on Charles Manson and Tate-LaBianca murders that changed modern society in the late 60's.

This was the first book written on The Family, and includes information deemed too disrespectful to the victims and their families. This version of the book features the pop art inspired dune buggy cover covered in a protective sleeve put on by a previous owner. 

A must-read to any true crime fan or 60’s enthusiast and what is considered the truist account of what went down.
