A nice 1986 Picador copy of Burroughs' deeply honest short novel about the despair of unrequited love 'Queer', written between 1951 and 1953, not published until 1985

Partially a sequel to his earlier novel 'Junkie' (which we have also stocked), 'Queer' follows the self-concious William Lee, who has fled America to live amongst a community of expatriates in Mexico City in the late 1940s.
