Nice 1994 VHS copy of Mike Leigh's dark masterpiece 'Naked' (1993)

The film follows Johnny - a damaged intellectual drifter who flees Manchester to find an ex-girlfriend in London. Once there, he seduces her flatmate and embarks on a nihilistic odyssey - wandering the city, undulging in whatever he pleases. It's a bleak and claustrophobic view of 90s England, with a tense score and lots of visual nods to Hitchcock and film noir. Featuring an incredibly rich performance from David Thewlis as Johnny, who was relatively unknown at the time
