Rare copy of The Face with Sade as front cover story promoting the amazing 'Promise' LP from the same year and all the press hyperbole that came with fame "So far this year i've had a baby and died of a heroin overdose, considering all that, im doing alright". 

The Face was arguably the cultural beacon of the magazine world running from 1980- 2004.
