Set in New Jersey, Clerks is a hilarious day spent with Quick Stop Groceries employees Dante and Randal. A black and white buddy comedy with incredible dialogue, honest performances and a hell of a lot of heart. Smith sold his comic book collection to raise the budget, shot the film in the convenience store he was working in at the time and cast school friends in numerous roles. Widely considered to be among the best independent films, we highly recommend
